what do you think of Obamacare now? are you happy to pay the extra money so others can be covered or get lower rates.... or are you unhappy because it turned out differently than you were led to believe?
serious responses from those who saw their rates substantially increase please (except those working for the govt who are getting a subsidy). really interested to hear a democrats point of view on this.
What if you are a Democrat and your rates didn't increase at all? Well, you probably don't want to hear from all those people because that wouldn't fit your obvious agenda.
DO share with us - did your rates increase perchance?

we received a letter stating that our rates would be going up. however, I, and I believe many other people in my office received a $1 an hour raise. not sure if it was to offset costs or not.

I am asking a specific question to a specific audience. If you are not part of that audience then please don't clog up this thread - start one of your own.

Its true, doesnt meet the intent. Then you shouldnt post.
And it is not just rates that have and will go up, its deductibles, co-pays and of course the big one, How is the current infrastructure going to handle all the extra people that arent just going to hit up the emergency room.
Isn't this question far too early to ever find an answer?
The first major implementation of ACA is a week old. No answers to your question are going to happen until some time passes and things settle down.
For sure, Democrats and Republicans alike are going to see changes equally. There is no political distinction in the law that favors or harms one party over the other.

The only people who this benefits is the low class.

Actually, for most the rates will go up but the other real killer is the deductible. They think people will be able to save even more money for higher deductibles. The problem is people will just ignore that part and not worry about it. When they get sick that's when the chit will hit the fan but by then the it will be too late, the low class will be wedged in and fight for their freebie.
The middle class is going to get killed on this one.
It will sure be a good thing for me since I have been totally locked out of the insurance market due a pre-existing condition.
