Liberals all want to drastically increase the national debt and even
eliminate all limits on how much it can go up.
Dumbest statement of the day.
Which party is it that gets apoplectic at the thought of PAYING for our spending with a sane tax structure. Which party goes nuts at the thought of cutting the bloated military budget that has sucked the lifeblood from this country since 1945?

Correct, the "conservative" Republican party who are content to spend wildly with NO plan you paying the debts. THIS stupidity is what runs up the public debt to intolerable limits.
I doubt there is anyone on this board to my left and I firmly believe in balancing every single federal budget.
If you will not pay for it, you cannot buy it.

But it's the Republicans who hire them on the cheap.

How bout we start by adopting some policies that have allowed the rest of the modern Western world to succeed.

VAT taxes, universal healthcare, a functional democracy.

No no no no, wait, what am I thinking? Thats all socialism and therefore evil. Just look at all the successful conservative nations out there and you'll see...

The country as founded is probably unsustainable today; back then the founders believed in slavery, extremely antiquated gender roles, and the persecution of an entire race of people (Native Americans). There are a lot of good things about this nation but let's not act like everything should be preserved as it was in the late 1700s. We are still a very young country, and the only constant in the universe is change...

That and we Americans have our heads up our asses most of the time anyway...we glorify ridiculous things, worship material goods and judge others way too much...let's ease up on how great we are all the time...

No, business owners of both parties hire them. The Democrats/Obama take it one step further though they are pandering to ethnocentric Hispanics for votes by promising their ethnic group here illegally amnesty even though we have 23 million Americans out of work and illegals would just continue to be a fiscal burden to our country anyway.

It's not a matter of liking the way the country was founded. It's a matter of how we can make this country better. After all, change is a constant so why not accept it?

We have to address our pissing away the money on "defense" from the boogyman.

We give them a VAT tax, it's just going to end up in the military budget.
