Those are your words and your feelings. None of which are based in reality.

I love how you think you know what political party JESUS would have belonged to!
I do because I know him. He stands for life.

Bingo!

The truth is hidden from those who do not believe.

It always makes me laugh when unbelievers try to tell us what the Bible says.
Or people who deny Him, then give a Bible versus.......those are the most informed!

Also a tithe is not a tax. Tithes go to your church, taxes go to the government.

But here is what Jesus said on the topic of taxes.
Matthew 22:15-22
15 Then the Pharisees went out and laid plans to trap him in his words. 16 They sent their disciples to him along with the Herodians. “Teacher,” they said, “we know that you are a man of integrity and that you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. You aren’t swayed by others, because you pay no attention to who they are. 17 Tell us then, what is your opinion? Is it right to pay the imperial tax[a] to Caesar or not?”

18 But Jesus, knowing their evil intent, said, “You hypocrites, why are you trying to trap me? 19 Show me the coin used for paying the tax.” They brought him a denarius, 20 and he asked them, “Whose image is this? And whose inscription?”

21 “Caesar’s,” they replied.

Then he said to them, “So give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”
And your point?

True-

Libs confuse charity, which is personally directed and voluntary, to taxation, which is compulsory and directed by the government.

Libs are some of the least charitable people (as has been shown many times), as they are hypocrites. They GIVE LESS to charities, while claiming to be MORE COMPASSIONATE. There is no personal sacrifice, thus no true compassion, when you are "giving away" other people's money.

Watch what I do, not what I say.

My way/God's way or no highway for you.

Pretty simple. Follow my rules and the Kingdom of God awaits. Don't and you lose.

Jesus doesn't fit into any neat little human political classification.

If I did have to pickone I'd say he was a totalitarian.

The basis of Jesus's argument is for you to rule over your money and not have money rule over you... which means, please be charitable with your money... not give your money to further the liberals political cause (which incidentally is having money rule over you)...

LOL at the agnostics/atheists jumping in to try and school us on what a book says that they don't believe in and probably have never studied for more than two minutes.

Precisely what makes you think he would not have associated with the 'Tea Party,' many of whom are Christians (which means they know Jesus, and belong to Him)? He absolutely would be found among them, because they are His children.

You obviously do not know Jesus.

It isn't hard to figure out if you know who He is, and know his teachings, then compare his teachings with the philosopy of the Democrat Pary — he clearly would not be a Democrat [the party of abortion, wealth redistribution, etc.]
