Last week the Teapublicans thought Ted Cruz was the best thing since bottled beer. So if you are a Teapublican do you double down and run the economy over a cliff.
I really like Cruz, but I hope he does not run for president. Being foreign born is too easy to make an issue over. I will be quite content to see him take Reid's place as Senate Majority leader. I know you may not agree.
at this point in time i dont know who i support for the republican nominee for president in 2016. i wont bother to decide until much closer to 2016, like say oct 2015 is when i will start to decide.
As I understand it Cruz was born in Canada and therefore cannot stand for the presidency. Am I right?
No, you are wrong.
Ted Cruz is a natural born citizen of the United States of America because his mother is a U.S. citizen.
The qualifications of U.S. natural born citizenship have recently been prominent due to the loony "birthers" who claim that President Obama was born in Kenya.
The fact is that President Obama was born in Honolulu. HI, and because of that fact, he is a natural born citizen, and therefore eligible to be president.''
Ted Cruz is also a natural born citizen due to the citizenship of his mother.
