Last week the Teapublicans thought Ted Cruz was the best thing since bottled beer. So if you are a Teapublican do you double down and run the economy over a cliff.

The Republicans’ worst poll yet

I really like Cruz, but I hope he does not run for president. Being foreign born is too easy to make an issue over. I will be quite content to see him take Reid's place as Senate Majority leader. I know you may not agree.

As I understand it Cruz was born in Canada and therefore cannot stand for the presidency. Am I right?

No, you are wrong.

Ted Cruz is a natural born citizen of the United States of America because his mother is a U.S. citizen.

The qualifications of U.S. natural born citizenship have recently been prominent due to the loony "birthers" who claim that President Obama was born in Kenya.

The fact is that President Obama was born in Honolulu. HI, and because of that fact, he is a natural born citizen, and therefore eligible to be president.''

Ted Cruz is also a natural born citizen due to the citizenship of his mother.

So what exactly is your delusion?

Oh he's still running, it's just that it is, away from leading his troops to Little Big Horn.

My impression is that most Democrats would be happy if he was the "opponent".

I'd rather keep him as my Senator.
