The White House grounds constitutes 18 acres of land. The White House Kitchen Garden is just one of five that the gardeners tend to. If the 1,100 square foot area occupied by the Kitchen Garden the gardeners would still have to landscape and tend to whatever else would be planted there.

In short this is just another really stupid thread by conservatives with way too much time and too little common damned sense.
