The first image that came to mind after reading the OP's question was a dog trying to get a long stick through an entryway that wasn't as wide as the stick.
Anyway, what is the legal amount you can have hanging out the back of a vehicle?
Can't you just take the cover off of your Jeep? Or unzip the back, put the object in, slap a red flag on the end that's hanging outside, and call it a day?
I need to fit a 75 inch long box inside my Jeep. The Jeep is 61 inches from the back of the front seat to the rear.
The "near light speed" stuff sounds awesome, but it's hard to do in traffic
there is another way, create a small black hole at one end of the container, then slide what ever it is you need to fit into the container, the black hole will absorb everything else. it might however have an effect on everything else around it as well, but that is another riddle to solve.
