Very well written article which ask questions not answered in the official report. Though the focus was on the possibility of Taliban working within the Afghan Army passing on information to fighters in the field, that doesn't explain why these forces were sent into a hot zone in the wrong type of aircraft to a landing zone that wasn't secured and why these forces weren't being used in the initial operation in the manner they are normally used. These questions point to a US Military command failure or conspiracy to eliminate them. Taliban working within the Afghan Army does not have command of how US Special Forces operate nor which vehicle they use to go into the field. Those decisions come from within US command.
Seriously..how many times have you see our government trivialize questions? They never answer them until months and sometimes years later when they have had enough time to totally fabricate stuff. If they answer it at all....they feel totally comfortable with just letting the issues die out when our spineless civilians just chalk it up and move on.
