He's always right, it's being correct he seems to have difficulty with.

But, but, but if we didn't fight them over there we'd have to fight them over HERE!

At least that's what the lying war-mongering SOBs who involved us in that asinine war of choice would've had us believe.

Don't you consider yourself of Libertarian? Cruz attacking Hagel for not being pro-war enough seems interesting for a Libertarian to like....

Libertarians are a confused bunch talk to them and their opinions will vary so much you wonder if they even know what the Libertarian Party stands for. Speaking of which why is it so many Libertarians support Republicans and Tea Party Repubs, they do not share the same ideals nor are they in the same Party, just makes no sense, kinda like the Paul supporters backing Paul as a Libertarian when he was a member of the GOP his entire career in Washington, either one is confused or the other is dishonest.

Claiming to libertarian is a new {R} fad, hell even Hannity and Beck claim the label now. LMAO. I do not agree with the whole libertarian platform but still makes me sick on some of the people that have jumped on the band wagon that are fake. Just like the {R}s hi jacked the Paul tea party now they are doing the same thing with the libertarian label.

I like Bent Bow and we agree the majority of the time but on some issues we are not even in the same ball park.

Cruz ought to be given a one-way trip to Israel, the country he's actually interested in defending--and let the US Defense Secretary actually mind US interests.

We support the Republicans because we have a two party system in this country. If I had the choice between a Libertarian and a Republican then I would vote for the Libertarian, but that isn't the choice. The choice is between Republicans and Democrats. Republicans are bad but Democrats are absolute trash. So I will vote Republican.

Even Greg Gutfeld--a political transvestite if there ever was one--calls himself a libertarian in between bursts of jingoist Teabagger wrath. He recently described himself as "pro-military industrial complex", if you can get your head around that.

U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz Statement on Hagel Nomination
WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) today issued the following statement:

Chuck Hagel is not the right choice for Secretary of Defense, and if he is nominated, it is
difficult to imagine any way I could support his confirmation. Hagel has not been a friend of Israel, our most important ally in a very troubled region of the world. And he has repeatedly been soft on our enemies. Bullies do not respond to weakness, and Hagel’s stance on Iran --the most serious national security challenge America currently faces -- makes conflict more likely, not less likely.
]America needs someone leading the Pentagon who understands that peace comes through strength. And we need a Defense Secretary who will stand unshakably alongside the nation
of Israel,....

Was Mr. Cruz incorrect in his assesment of Iran. Did Mr. Cruz totally ignore or discount Mr. Hagle's service in Vietnam? Reagan's appointent as Deputy Administrator of the Veterans Adiminstration; or his service in the Senate being elected twice?

What would be Mr. Cruz' reasoning for challenging Mr. Hagle on these points? Was Mr. Hagel unqualified? Or was Mr. Cruz just palin wrong on his assesments?
This is where Cruz is incorrect.
"Hagel’s stance on Iran --
the most serious national security challenge America currently faces"

A country with hardly any military that is surrounded by 30 American Military bases is somehow a threat?

I can still hear Bachmanns voice during the debates. "Iran is months away from nuclear weapons."
