The Texas abortion bill that Wendy Davis filibustered has been ruled unconstitutional and will not take effect tomorrow.
"District Judge Lee Yeakel wrote Monday that the regulations violated the rights of abortion doctors to do what they think is best for their patients and would unreasonably restrict a woman's access to abortion clinics."
Judge rules controversial Texas abortion law unconstitutional - CBS News

Bbbbut … but … the Texas GOP only wants what's BEST for the poor wimmin who aren't smart enough to make up their own minds! How can a bill created by that freedom-loving, Constitution-loving GOP that only wants to keep government out of people's lives be ruled unconstitutional? Must be some loony left activist judge.

At least the Wendy Davis filibuster was not in vain and was an actual filibuster that had a legit basis...unlike another recent nonsensical and fake filibuster that I can recall.

When will the far right learn not to die on that hill? If you don't like abortion fine, preach it from your pulpit, soap box ect. But you can not make law based on what ever 2000 year old book of nonsense you want to buy into. I listened to the radio today out of Punta Gorda. Ken Lovejoy, yes that is his name, and its not a pron movie, ranted on for 20min reciting Isaiah chapter and verse. LOL I called in and said Lev. also says that eating shell fish is an abomination so next time you have shrimp its the same to "god" as an all male gang bang. LOL. these people are just as crazy as the far left who want en end to all corporations and fossil fuel. Man nuts on either side.

Bible mentions abortion? Mentions murder, which is the argument of the right. Abortion is murder. I tend to agree with that statement, beyond the first trimester, barring birth defects and life of the mother
