As detailed elsewhere, Obama said yesterday that he didn't say "If you like your health plan, you can keep it" in the face of dozens of media video showing he did say it.

One of the more common tactics among Democrats, is to tell som lie about a comparatively innocuous subject, in order to focus eveyone's attention on that lie, get them talking about that lie, etc.

And the purpose for doing that, is to get them off some far more serious subject.

I predict that some VERY serious information is about to be revealed, about some totally unrelated matter. Perhaps something new about the IRS abusing conservative groups (an act Nixon was almost impeached for), perhaps Benghazi and the murders of an ambassador, perhaps the complicity of his administration in running guns and bombs to Mexican drug cartels, I don't know what the subject will be.

But something big is coming. That's why Obama is getting everyone worked up about a relatively (he thinks) unimportant lie.

What could it be?

Oh, come on. You guys know perfectly well that he's dumber than a box of rocks and only got into his prestigious universities because of affirmative action.

At least that's what you tell us all the time.

But today … suddenly he's the clever, conniving con man? Make up your minds, nutjobs. How can you expect us poor lefties to keep up with the ravings of your imagination when you change direction every few minutes?

Who said he is clever? He's clever only to those dumb enough to have voted for him.

He is a master of being clever in and of the fact, that he knows he has a worship of followers dumb enough to buy what ever lie he is selling?

Why would Obama do something so obviously fake and easy to refute? That's not like him.
Maybe because he's gotten away with it on so many other things. This seems different though. For one, it's not just fox news and Rush Limbaugh pointing it out. For another, the middle class (dems, repubs, independents) are getting hit squarely in the face with this particular lie - it's not some other guy or the nameless, faceless "rich."

Not a fan of the President BUT:

As I understand it the way the law was written it allowed you to keep your current plan. It was only after the law was passed, and really stringent regulations were then written that your plan had to cover this, that and the other Obamacare thing, was the promise that you could keep your current plan violated by the administration. The question then becomes was it deliberate to write the law one way knowing your appointed bureaucrats would make "the correction" in regulations after the election? Were they figuring the backside smooching news media would cover him on the technicality? This is why I believe Dianne Feinstein is confused over it. She knows the law she voted for allowed people to keep their current plan if they wanted to.

If the President says he knew nothing about the Obamacare regulations, like he knew nothing about Benghazi, knew nothing about Fast and Furious, knew nothing about the IRS targeting conservatives, knew nothing about NSA spying, knew nothing about Morsi and sat in a church for a bazillion years and knew nothing about his pastor then lets send Mr Know-Nothing packing for not knowing anything about anything. It's his job to know. They're called briefings. Every boss gets them.

He always lies.

A guy with Narcissistic Personality Disorder doesn't know the difference between the truth and a lie.

He's not all there.

I tend to agree. There's a bombshell.....or bombshell coverup....brewing. I can smell it.
