Most americans see (and saw, during the last novembers) her as 'extremist', 'full of baggage' and 'unlikeable'.

The fact that she stated that 'real americans' do not include people of color, people living in big cities (which statistically are 2/3 of America), and people with college educations was a big turn off too.

I guess even the fools need their Champion. Thus is Mrs Palin.

As for who would make a better prez, you may as well complain to Gore, Dole, Mondale and Kerry. You know the saying "Losers are always whining about doing their best and what they would have done, winners go home with the prom queen" (juvenile but gets the point through).

Wellness, your claim of Palin bringing the troops home is bogus.Do you not remember that she was on Hannity and used the Cheney line that Obama was dithering. She is no different from any other {R} that wants to spread democracy and nation build.
Of course they do not want a war tax, just have Barnake print the money and pass the debt to future generations.
As far as your claim she wants to bring back gold where is your source? I doubt that you have one because she is a dunce when it comes to economics.
There is nothing special about Palin she is a typical {R}.

I would vote for anyone who did these things whether or not I liked them or identified with them or whatever other crud. What happened to voting on the issues?

The oath of office, to my knowledge, does not include any reference to a specific term.

She was right to quit, and thinking people understand the reasons which she gave.

You liberals, people like yourself, drove her out, and did it on purpose, out of hatred.
She quit because, as she said, she was spending 80% of her time fighting all the frivolous lawsuits brought by liberal groups and individuals (people like you). This was at great expense not only to Alaskans, but to her personally.

Because of this burden on her personal finances, and the need to deal with that, coupled with the requests she was receiving to speak (which pays well, in case you haven't noticed), which could provide the means to pay those expenses, she had to weigh that option against completing her term of office.

She said that she had considered remaining for the rest of her term (but you probably never heard that part of the announcement she made — that's called "selective listening"; most liberals have that problem) but to do so would be unfair to Alaskans, and her family, who were also suffering under the burden of the relentless attacks by the left (people like you), who were even going after her family members with smear campaigns, including her young daughter (dispicable attacks, but that's what you people do. Have you no shame?).

Finally, she said she felt she could be of greater service to the American people and that she felt she was being pulled in that direction; that there was a greater roll for her in the service of the entire country, to restore our freedom, and our liberty. She felt that there was more meaningful work that she could be a part of.
In view of all these things, I think she made the right choice. There is no reason to criticize her for it, except to take some cheap shot like the one you made, which liberals like yourself will always do when they get the chance.

These constant attacks on her, by you and others, are the "Alinskey method": Pick your target, isolate it, marginalize, ridicule, etc. until destroyed.

But we know the game now. We on the right are learnig. What the left does and how they do it is perfectly clear now. Most of us now also know about Cloward and Piven. We now have the knowledge of the left to know how to fight back, and fight back we will, till liberas are once again defeated (we hope finally for all time), and freedom and liberty, and prosperity, will be once again secure.

Socialism, communism, and Marxism have been tried and retried over and over again. They have always failed.

Sorry, being nice and personable may win a job at the ocal library or perhaps on the PTA ExCom, but not for President of the US.

Comparisons to Obama are red herrings. Send Palin back to Alaska to raise her family. There are plenty of bigger fish in the sea for the job at hand. If not, American is in deep trouble.

"Most Americans"? "Baggage"? "Unlikable"? Can you explain what you mean. What "baggage" do you refer to? Do you have some credible sources for this outlandish statement? I don't see that she has any "baggage" at all. She was an excellent governor, and her political career prior is also full of accomplishment.

And except for those of you on the left, who are a minority of Americans, she is loved by most. Liked by many. How else is she drawing such huge crowds when she speaks? Have you seen the numbers of people at her book signing stops? Up to 1500 people waiting in line for 6 hours before she is scheduled to arrive? At one stop (Columbus, Ohio) people were camped out over night! I wonder if "wonder boy" Obama could ever draw such crowds?

When did she make such a statement? Do you have such a quote handy, or is this taken out of context and twisted, as the left usually does? Please post the link to the original source, her own words, in context. Or did you find this in the Huffington Post? Sounds like something from that rag. I'm willing to bet you have no such quote from her.

It is you people with your constant baseless, and hate filled attacks and rhetoric, who support an idiot like wonder boy Obama, that are the fools. And judging by the polls, the majority of Americans are beginning to realize this.

Never heard that "quote" before, and it is juvenile, and it doesn't apply. Sarah Palin was not on the ticket running for President (did you forget that?), and the fact that once she was selected, she energized the Party, raked in millions for a failing McCain campaign, and gave us some hope. Unfortunately, McCain was still at the top of the ticket, not Palin.

What we do know clearly now is the absolute incompetence of the current occupant of the White House, and the entire administration.

It was reported on Friday that a mere 10% of Obama's administration have any business experience. Is it any wonder that they are making such a mess of things, and programs such as "Cash for Clunkers" are such total failures? These people have no clue how an economy works, let alone how to run a business. Yet they are telling CEO's how to run their businesses, and in charge of managing the U.S. economy! This is scary indeed.

If we survive till 2010, it will be only by God's grace.
