Go UN!! Go African Union!! You are doing "great" to continuing your push to dis-arm every law-abiding citizens and every oppressed people in the planet.

Now you are taking guns, the ONLY defense the Darfur refugees have to protect their families, while you allow fully armed rebel Muslim guerillas kill people randonmly and for fun.

This is another example: Gun control only disarm people trying to DEFEND themselves and their familes. They never get the guns from the drug dealers, from tyrants, from oppressive terrorist groups, from criminals!

THIS IS WHY AMERICANS FIGHT FOR THEIR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR! AMERICANS ARE FREE PEOPLE AND THEY WILL STAY THAT WAY AS LONG AS THEY KEEP AND BEAR!

***I want some comments on what you think of the UN disarming the victims of one of the world's greatest genocides!!! Should the UN be doing this?? WHY??***

Here is the news on it:

Arms seizure threat sparks panic in Darfur camp (2007)

By Andrew HeavensWed Nov 21, 11:31 AM ET

Police in Sudan have threatened to use force to seize arms from displaced Darfuris in one of the region's most volatile camps, according to a police notice seen by Reuters on Wednesday.

The threat has already started to spread panic among residents of south Darfur's Kalma camp, said aid groups who added they were worried the seizures might provoke violent clashes or a mass exodus from the settlement.

Default disban the un

where to start, the UN is the most anti people orgonization I know of. we need to get out of the UN and get them out of the US. I know its an old worn slogan but it says it all. they have never stopped a war or stood up to anybody. worthless group to say the least. sad part is so many people, like the clintons think there the ultimate answer.

I guess the fact that the words 'United Nations' appeared in the article was enough for some folks. My dog always barks when I say 'Mailman', too...

Thread title does not match thread contents. 'Kalma camp' is not run by the UN, the African Union, or anyone for that matter. Sudanese police are not UN agents. The World Food Programme, which is the UN agency operating in Kalma camp, isn't even a police force. They hand out rice, not disarm refugees.

The problem in the Sudan is Africa's problem. We cannot hope to relate, to understand them. Least of all fat cat politicians who have never had to go a day without the most modern luxery available. Its a sad place to live no doubt about it, worse still as demonstrated in Somalia all of our good intentions wont solve the problem. They need to solve the problem.

Let's teach these elementary school students how to use guns to prevent another Columbine or to stop a trespassing pervert. Students, teachers, and staff will carry guns to secure the school.--The wet dream of the NRA!
