As far as the news media goes, he was (and still is) their guy. Consider how this pack-a-day smoker with a family history of cancer got away with providing a simple, one-page note from his doctor attesting to his good health, with not a peep or question from reporters when news hounds pored over stacks of medical records released by John McCain for hours, then had the nerve to biotch because they couldn't make copies of them.

Facts are facts.. two men who were known as gay from Obama's church were murdered within weeks as Barry rose from the ranks to the presidency.. didn't you know that they would ask Obama everything he ever did in his past to protect him as he rose to be president.
He told some lies about Obamacare, he's ordered Drone strikes which have killed innocent people and he's admitted to using drugs in the past so, technically, it could be seen as true.

Actually free base was around in the 70s. Those with powered cocaine would free base it themselves opposed to buying crack in the 80s ready to go without all the hassle. Just saying.
I think this is such a typical example of, first, vicious gossip, and second the lengths to which people will go to attack the President because they find it soooooo galling that he is the first black President of the U.S. That criticism does not exclude some black people who are so jealous they just cannot deal with it. Btw, "eye witnesses" are the most unreliable witness one can find. Our "memories" all come from biased lenses.
