Thats what I was wondering. Did he actually change his opinions deceiving people on that point as well as pretending to be black. I guess it would be one thing if he kept his political views and pretended to be black. IF he has won then it would have been interesting.
But if he also changed his political views.. then whats so special about it?
Remember this Howard Stern Hit! Where Howard Stern sends someone to Harlem to talk to voters about McCain/Palin and obama they use McCain platform as obama's and everyone loves it!
What's telling? That blacks vote based on issues and not skin color? Who didn't know that? The recent mayor's race in Detroit is further evidence of that.
But wait...I thought the wingnuts said that blacks DON'T vote on the issues but on race exclusively?
But still, this story is quite convoluted without knowing what exactly did the man run for (it wasn't in the piece) and how many people even voted.
Regardless, I don't really see what's the big problem here except for one thing....
The Republican party is constantly complaining about their lack of black support and how blacks won't vote for them because of this or that and yet...THIS is the way you wanna get black votes? By being deceptive and admitting it? Is that the way to endear yourself to a black constituency? A constituency that already finds your party to be suspect?
Why not simply keep it real right from the beginning? Chris Christie TRIPLED his black support in New Jersey, and he didn't do it by being quasi-deceitful. He did it by actually GOING into the places where blacks are (imagine that...I know...unimaginable for a right winger) and presenting his point of view even when he knew they sharply disagreed on some issues.
I know...different animal, right? Because unlike Texas Republicans, New Jersey Republicans actually use their heads. SMH
Oh yes, one person in Houston is the poster child for all Conservatives. Again, you libs are, excuse the phrase, black and white, you never allow for any gray area. It's all or nothing with you guys. Extremists to the bitter end.
The point was, if they had known this was a white guy, a white Republican no less, you know, the evilest, most vile thing on earth according to some of you libbies out there, I'll bet you that a good chunk of those voters would not have listened to a word he said. The post right above this one proves what I'm trying to say.
Why not keep it real? As if the majority of politicians 'keep it real'? Do you honestly believe that?
And look, there's your racism, at long last, finally coming out. Now you don't have a damn card to play in the future. I know you think us whities are afraid of black people, but you would be wrong. However, if that makes you sleep better at night, you just go on ahead and keep thinking it.
He played them at their own game and won.....He never once said that he was black or white....He sent out a mailer just like others did and put on it what the people in that voting district wanted to see....He played them like a well tuned fiddle and never lied while doing it and he has said the he intends to serve on the board...He did what the left wing bias media does everyday!!!!!!!

Of course, Barack Obama is laughing, doubled over, because he trolled a much larger base of white people the last two elections.
Looks like the low info folks are red staters. Sorry. America
