I don't think so, because Obama will tarnish the Democratic Party name and the ideological label of progressive liberalism, they will trash Obama, and in so doing attempt to regain some of their lost pride and reputation.

I agree that NAFTA sucks, but it has zero to with Reagan's slaughtering of The American Dream. At least Clinton left a surplus and had the sense to put fair tax rates in place. And btw...Raygun sucked too.

PullMyfinger,
Congress spent, on average, 2.8% more than Reagan asked for. And 24.5% more over 8 years. Every balanced-budget Reagan presented to Congress was declared DOA by (Democrat) Tip O'Neil.

Heartwarming news on Thanksgiving Eve.

And the icing on the cake is that even more people think Obama is a failure than Bush. There's still three more years for his numbers to drop even more.
Who could possibly be surprised by this?

Bush's approval was driven down by the media. Obama has been supported by the media through thick and thin. His disapproval is all of his own making.

Reagan was a great President. No question about it.

Too bad you don't know the actual facts...

If Ronald Reagan were President, we wouldn't have "today's political climate." We wouldn't have todays economy, either.

Key word, "freedom."

Oh, really? And on what do you base that opinion? Reagan brought us back from the Carter economy (not as bad as Obama's, but bad) and we had 96 months of economic expansion. Jobs, jobs, jobs.

I lived throught the Carter years (which were awful) and the Reagan years were the best of my life to date!
