I'd say it's true until the WH says otherwise.

They showed a photo of the letter so there really is a letter signed by Obama.

Denial is good, keep going with that. Seems to be working for your Dear Leader.

Here how about Salon a noted LEFT leaning site?

President Obama refers to “tea-baggers” in alleged handwritten letter - Salon.com

Oh look Dear Leader just went over a cliff, maybe you should go see if he's ok.

LOL! The idiots at Salon should also look up the definition - for this indeed is a handwritten letter (whether or not Obama penned it is the fact in question)

Wasn't so well-spoken this time. I wonder if he wasn't clean either?

Why is all the anger being directed at Obama? Why not direct it at the teabagger who, in his letter, asked Obama about his dislike of "tea baggers"? It seems to me Obama was just answering the question asked of him (if the response letter is in fact real).

^^^^^THIS...and the link says it all. And btw, as the article states, the POTUS owes them no respect...

Of course, neither of them get around to explaining exactly why the president needs to show deference to a movement explicitly organized around opposing him and any and every policy he might try to enact, a movement embodied by people who call him a Marxist and a fascist and depict him as a witch doctor with a bone in his nose.

You reap what you sow teabaggers.

Don't Teabaggers refer to themselves as Teabaggers?

They do! So why get so offended when someone else uses their term of preference?
The following from another poster IMHO states it perfectly.

"Rappers insist upon calling themselves a derogatory term for members of my race, that doesn't mean I find it acceptable or that you should use it, let alone the president of the United States. Can you imagine the outrage if he had used a derogatory term like that for any other group? Or how about if he referred to females as b*#thes? This is no different and it is beneath the dignity of the office he holds."

Obama is a very educated person, I just can't believe he would word a letter like that. I would say it's faked.

Obama is gay when he smiles.

Who keeps co-opting and changing the meanings of English words for political reasons?

My observations are that conservatives smirk and liberals s****** at their respective inside jokes.

I don't like being smirked or s******ed at.
