What if his religion requires him to practice it in all aspects of life, not just only behind closed doors? A Christian must ask if God would approve of participating in a gay wedding and making profit off this action.

Trying to explain the implications of the government forcing a business to serve an individual against their will, REGARDLESS of the reason, destroys the individual rights of everyone, under the false pretense of protecting rights.
So you pretty strongly think this country has been going downhill ever since discrimination against blacks was banned?

And herein lies the crux of the problem. There are those out there who believe that their religious beliefs give them the right to do whatever they want, say whatever they want, to whomever they want, at any time they want, with absolute impunity and with no social or civil consequences whatsoever. Anything less is an infringement of their ability to freely practice religion freely.

Unfortunately for them, the first amendment was never intended to allow them such unrestricted and unrestrained practice of their beliefs, and there are multiple court cases, both in lower courts and the Supreme Court that back up this assertion.

If that is how you want to practice your beliefs, you are in the wrong country, my friend.

Would a good, encouraging sign of maturity mean abolishing civil rights laws?

You either own your labor, or you don't ..... and if you don't own it, you are a slave.

I contend that you cannot have a just and free society comprised of slaves.
Then considering how severely sinful you feel that homosexual behavior is, then you would surely strongly urge a Christian baker to first ask a new customer if he or she is a homosexual, especially if there are no relevant anti discrimination laws.

Good question. Does a christian have to ask god if he has to tinkle or go poo-poo? "I feel like pinching a loaf but I better check in with the big man"

It is so funny seeing the RWNJ's heads exploding! In their little world, and their little minds, they think the deck should be stacked in their favor. They feel like they should only have to follow the rules that they like, and to hell with everyone else. But times are a changing and changing fast and they better get used to it and get used to it fast. Soon it will be legal for gays to get marred in all the states and territories of the United States.

Timing could be important... If there is a gay rapist in the mens room, and one is warned of ill intent...by the spirit of God.

It would be good to have a heads up....

Ask, and it shall be given. Seek, and you shall find, Knock and the door shall be opened.
