retired at 29 on disability after stapling his non-trigger finger finger.

gotta wonder how many scammers like this are out there.

Quote:
A former New Jersey Transit police officer who retired on an estimated $2 million life disability pension after a staple to his finger supposedly left him unable to easily fire a weapon has been caught on video firing at a gun range.

Christopher Onesti, who retired at 29 with a tax-free $46,000-a-year pension, can be seen on video having a blast despite a 2008 career-ending injury said by doctors to "significantly impede his ability to fire a weapon."

Onesti, who has since admitted to using the range several times a year, was declared "totally and permanently disabled" after accidentally stapling a nontrigger finger while tacking up shooting targets.

Too many.

Especially where police unions are concerned. And what had he accomplished by age 29 -- as a transit cop -- to justify a $46,000 a year pension?

The problem with too many pigs feeding at the taxpayer trough is that eventually.......the trough runs out of food.

Depends on what your definition of "permanent" is..

At a minimum they should stop the checks today.

I think perhaps the problem comes in the system of allowing him disability claim like so many other disabilities. Its not that disabilities should not be given.I now I have kind of wandered about SS when I learn someone I know is disabled under SS at times.

Who is most at fault here: the dog that takes the big juicy bone you waved in front of his nose, or the idiots who set up a system where any immoral slug can get rich sucking the blood of working taxpayers?

Programs like disability are not only immoral, but rife with abuse and should be ended ASAP.

Both, absolutely. Surely you aren't suggesting that no blame goes to this guy????

Yes you can.
Why dont you tell us why people should have their money taken away by force and given to someone of your choosing?
