Just an aside to anger some - I've never watched the show and have no interest in doing so. Reality TV is absolutely the LAST thing I'll ever watch on TV.
I don't know what it is with reality shows lately.
It's duck-huntin', varmint-killin', crocodile-butcherin', swamp-dwellin', hog-slaughterin', leg-hold trappin', deer-skinnin' show after show after show, acted out by people with room temperature IQs.

I am constantly amused by people who chastise others when they have NEVER experienced what they ridicule.

The show's rating will probably rise. Folks who watch the show are attracted to the family's Christian values, a welcomed respite from the filth all over TV. I suspect most of the shows fans agree or aren't bothered by his views.
I highly doubt that. There is nothing on that show that would discourage non-Christians from watching it. It's hilarious. I watch the show because I want to watch Uncle Psi play with sharp objects, and watch beaver dams be blasted by flamethrowers.
The only thing that will discourage non-Christians from watching it will be the actor's comment about homosexuals. That type of comment is one that many Christian actors believe, but saying it and emphasizing it adds something to it.
Where do I sign up? It sure has inspired me to dress up in funny clothes in a confined space (duck blind) with other men while imitating animal calls. And this dude comes down on gays?

Judging by the plunging ratings for the two bell cows of reality TV over the last 2-3 years (American Idol & Dancing With The Stars), this is much ado about nothing.
Why do they seem to think that homosexuality is about the worse sin a human being can possibly commit against God and society? Do they make sure they don't cheat on their wives?
