He made the bigoted comments. Saying the Christian belief that homosexuality is a sin is unfounded. As is the belief in god. That's not judgemental or persecution it's just a fact.

He didn't liken homosexuality to bestiality. He basically said that if we embrace homosexuality, what's next, bestiality? It's the slippery slope.
