Does that mean you disagree with the Loving v. Virginia decision?

Harrier is 37.

Harrier knows people who are much older than he is who are quite liberal.

Leftists just can't wrap their mind around the fact that a large segment of Generation X - Harrier's generation - who will be running America for the next 30 years - is politically conservative.
I am not much older than you, I live in a very conservative state, and most conservative people I know either support same sex marriage or are at least impartial to the idea. They may be fiscally conservative, but a greater number of people are becoming much more socially independent in their thinking.

That's the real slap in the face when people like you believe that homosexuals are less than human. Get off your high horse and let people live their lives. Don't believe in gay marriage don't get married to the same sex. It's very simple.
The gay army raised the specter of in-born trait vs. choice when they claimed that homosexuality was an inborn trait in order to use the nonsensical "civil rights" argument in order to redefine marriage.

Before then, it wasn't a serious issue. No one really cares what you do in the privacy of your own home, or whether you were born that way or not.

What offends people is the assault on marriage and the insistence that you should have special rights above and beyond those that all Americans already have.

Since no one really knows whether homosexuality is an inborn trait or not, and you don't like Harrier saying that it is a choice - then here is the deal.

Harrier will step away from the argument that the gay army began.

In return - the gay army will leave marriage and our children alone.

It's very simple.

Where do you come up with such nonsense?
Your comments in this thread say otherwise Sir Harrier

If that bothers you, why not attempt to marry a child or a cousin or a parent or someone who's comatose (or whatever restriction you find irrational) and then challenge the law in court? If you can show that the ban serves no legitimate government interest, then I hope you win.

No one wants to have anything to do with your marriage or your kids. Trust me.

Certain counties have outright closed their country clerk's offices. Just saw a news stories that said they may be held in contempt of court.

Great!

Does this mean that the gay army is going to stop redefining marriage and stop depriving children of a mother and a father?
