That also explains why those Black Nigerians who come to the US as free people do WELL because they're already smart so they could get out of Nigeria. It ain't the dummies who come here because water is real good at keeping most people apart.
People can't even agree on what intelligence is, and you sure as hell can't accurately measure it.
What I do know is that the US is probably the wealthiest nation in the world and we are a nation full of idiots, using educational standards, compared to other industrialized nations we rank way at the bottom.

I find it odd the OP wants to convince people that wealth =intelligence. Trump is wealthy, but he's clearly a dolt who never picked up a book in his life. Hardly something to admire.
There's a backlash against the trash celeb culture and msm brainwash we now have in corporate US. Lets hope it continues.
Are the authors onto something or is it just a mere coincidence that the light skinned races (Chinese, Europeans, Koreans, etc.) are wealthier by chance?
(Oh, before anyone try to argue that the average Chinese is not rich, do consider that China is on its way up and will continue to do so, and 5,000 years ago, it was one of the most advanced civilizations in the world).
A similar comparison could be made between Russians and Finns, or a dozen other examples. It is not about skin tone; it is culture and individualism vs. collectivism. Individualism=smart and wealthy; collectivism=dumb and poor, and probably suffering from substance abuse.

IQ is correlated with race; facts are not racist. The explanation for that has nothing to do with race. Race is not tethered to IQ. As humans further evolve based on new global circumstances IQ will equalize among races.
I think the data is rather flawed. You see that dark read swath in central Africa. The authors admitted that it is based off of 48 IQ tests conducted on 10-14 year olds in Equatorial Guinea. So in essence we are supposed to believe that 48 IQ tests in a country slightly smaller then Albania will tell us the average IQ of an area the size of Western and Central Europe. Basically IQ tests were only done in something like 81 nations and for the remaining 104 nations there is no data at all. It is basically guesses. It goes the other way as well most IQ tests from China were conducted among people of relative means and education in Shanghai and that was used to determine the IQ of all of China, had those tests been given to farmers w/little education in Guizhou you probably would have significantly different results.
Making conclusions is fine when you have data, but this is basically junk science in that for most countries they have performed exactly 0 tests and in countries where they have tests there is a boat load of self selection biases.

Where is the scientific evidence that skin complexion is related to IQ?
History doesn't have your theory on its side. The MENA region has always been more developed than Northern Europe. Some of the greatest scientific work was cultivated in the Middle East. Nordic societies(light skinned Europeans) were practically still in the Dark Ages until about the 12th century. During the Roman era, the regions where people were the most "swarthy" had the most influence.
IQ is very important in modern technological societies. It has strong predictive value, especially when you look at the average IQ of large groups. Many don't like the implications of what this means, so they attack IQ as a flawed measurement. The fact is: a group with a higher average IQ does better in education, wealth attainment, maintaining a civil society and developing an economy.
It's no surprise then when groups with low IQs perform poorly in school, live in poverty, have high crime and make communities that aren't attractive to businesses.
