Unless you agree with his statement. That would make you to be agreeable with stupid. Fight it, bro. Fight the stupid.

I think the author is confused. I think http://userserve-ak.last.fm/serve/_/...e_iglesias.jpg
is a handsome man. I have zero desire to have sex with him. LOVE ME ENRIQUE!!!! Nah, just kidding. But, there are some men out there, who look at him like I look at Jennifer Lawrence. And then we think things. These thing involve aprons, and nothing else.
That's what the author gets wrong. Being attracted to someone isn't a choice. He argues that the act of smashing your genitals against other things ..... is a choice....well....duh. So is washing your hands.
Interesting article here, about how whether you think homosexual attraction itself is a choice, you always have a choice in your actions. That is where free will lies.
Bisexuals are attracted to both sexes. Eventually most of them do make a choice to live one way or the other.
The rest of us are born either straight or homosexual. It is as much a part of who we are as our sex and race, and as negotiable. If it is all "choice", you would be able to make yourself be attracted to those of your sex. If you cannot change your sexual orientation, then realize that neither can homosexuals.
Your sexuality is part of the temperament you were given by your Creator. To fight against your temperament would be an insult to the God who made you.
BTW - Robert Oscar Lopez is a deeply disturbed individual. I hope he can get some counselling and resolve his inner conflicts.
"It's OK to change from straight to gay though, because that's called 'coming out of the closet'"
LOL- whoever wrote that column in the OP's link is a moron.
"Coming out of the closet" is not an act of changing from straight to gay, which is impossible. It is acknowledging that you were created gay and refusing to hide it any more because of the probability of censure by bigots.
I can't say for sure that being gay is a "choice."
But there's absolutely no conclusive evidence in favor of people being "born gay." Statistics show that adopted children of gay couples have much higher chances of being gay themselves. Environment and personal decisions play a role, no doubt.
