Get rid of the bribes that lawmakers take in DC
Get rid 5 to 7 most used loopholes the super rich use
Raise taxes on the super rich 30% to 40%
Minimum Wage would be $15 a hr and fixed to cost of living
Cut the defense budget by 40% to 50%
Cut aid to countries that really do not like us
Make it illegal for anybody to have money over seas and they forfeit all overseas money to the us government
A big penalty for any company that ships jobs overseas
Stiffen the requirements to get on welfare and food stamps like you have to work a min of 25 hrs a week and you can not be on them for more than 15 to 18 months
Change jury duty so any case that is less than week long does not need a jury
All lawmakers in DC would have term limits
Find a way to make the speaker of the house or senate do there job if they are not doing there job like there could be a special vote by members of that branch to bring a bill up for vote so we would never have a John do nothing Boehner again

Stop the high cost of government has middle man to those dependent and never likely to produce near what they consume. that would save about 40% in management cost of the systems that serviced them.

Radically cut back the size and scope of federal government and let the states compete to see who can come up with the best ideas.

Canadian education results are in the top 5-10 worldwide; the US ranks approx. 25. The main difference: Canada has no national Dept. of Education. Education is run at the provincial level.

Clean sweep.

Then start over.
Exactly: hard reboot. Go back to the Founding Fathers and their Libertararian ideals, because you can't fix a cancer that has grown to 40% of the entire economy.

I always say if you could go back in time and grab the founding fathers, bring them to today to see the mess made, they'd go, "f@#$ it, this obviously isn't going to work. Maybe ole' king George isn't so bad after all..."

Cut spending and let EVERYONE be equal. Too many fragile egos in this country.

I am so amused by the willingness of the right wing to suggest fascist economics, eugenics and worse to make government serve them only. I prefer the idea of "Liberty and Justice for ALL."

If you really care about improving America figure out some way of eliminating the collusion between government and big business and start destroying monopolies and similar market distortions. Then set a 90% federal income tax on all personal income, including funds retained by corporations as personal income, and provide for a 90th percentile deduction. Set the tax rate sufficient to balance the budget. That will place the burden of running the country on the people that own it and leave the rest of us to spend or invest our money as we want.

Also remove the private bankers from the student loan business. All loans should be from the federal government at the government interest rate and be paid back by a permanent surcharge on the recipient's taxable income.

Another suggestion is to encourage the public school systems to toss the unwilling and uneducable time wasters out on their collective asses and spend their time teaching the kids that want to learn.

Stay the hell out of other people's wars. the Mideastern problems are theirs not ours. Tell the AIPAC terrorists that their interests are NOT ours.

BTW - Be aware, when you suggest killing liberals, some of us shoot back.
