I watched it for about 2 months and quit because it was boring and they just rehashed everything over and over again. The only funny part I saw was when they took their wives hunting. The Hawaii show was horrible.
The wives hunting was funny. They reminded me of when I took my wife hunting and sitting still and being quite was impossible for her. Then when we were leaving I caught a buck breaking across a field and shot it. She about crapped her pants when the gun went off. She didn't enjoy watching me clean the deer either. LOL
I didn't find it boring, but then I didn't enjoy it all that much either. I found parts amusing and some parts just stupid. The wife spraying Doe in heat urine on herself was pretty amusing. She thought it was scent blocker or something.
Overall I give the show a 3 on a scale of 1 to 10.
John and Kate plus 8 I gave a -10 on the same scale.
I really don't like reality TV.

Some of the nonsense that's been spewed about the Robertsons on garbage like MSNBC has been far worse any anything Phil said, but you don't see people wanting to censure them. We just do like decent people do and don't watch.
See how easy it is? Too difficult for liberals to figure out, I guess.
A&E finally woke up and realized that gays are 3-4% of the population compared to at least 50% of population who agrees with Phil and supports the show. You don't bite the hand that feeds you. Political correctness don't pay the bills.

I agree. I've only seen bits and pieces of some of them. I think the Kardishians offend me more than Robertson and I've never seen either show lol
I guess A&E decided the "Show Tunes" crowd was not worth bending over backwards for...smart move.
Hm. I'd have to say that both are more than a little offensive. Labeling Duck Dynasty viewers "evangelical" or those protesting (I'm assuming GLAAD since they were the original protestors until Jesse Jackson seized the opportunity to look like he's still relevant) a "Show Tune" crowd.
Both are negative stereotypes.
