I wouldn't. As long as they can do the job and don't force their beliefs on the population.... I could care less.

I wish the legislators in California didn't worship Marx so much...

I don't care one way or the other about a government official's religious beliefs so long as they do their jobs effectively.

This.

That is just a distraction from the actual problems they need to address.

Religious or have a faith? There is a difference. I would prefer that no rep is a zealot.

I really don't care. I do care when it starts influencing them more than it should. Trying to ban religion or trying to remove evolution from schools would be examples of things that would start to bother me. But if they just do their job and they do it well, they can be atheist, christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, or whatever they want.

I couldn't care less, myself. You care more than I do?

Doesn't matter to me as long as their religious beliefs are kept personal and kept out of any and all policy decisions.

I don't care and most GOOD politicians won't make their faith a platform. The ones who do are the ones you need to watch out for...they are up to no good.
