The war in Afghanistan is NOT over. Don't even bother trying to argue with me, as I am a military spouse. Our spouses continue to be deployed. Wonder how many people without ties to the military actually believe the craziness that you wrote.

LOL Still in Afghanistan and the reason we are out of Iraq is because he couldn't seal the deal and Iraq told us to leave. What is the the number of troops killed on Obama's watch in Afghanistan v.s GWB ?
Did the recession end because of Obama or inspire of him that is the real question. The same goes for the stock market.

A second term was too long for him to remain in office; a third term would be way too long. Honestly, I often wish that Washington and Jefferson had set a one term precedent rather than a two term precedent; while most of the great Presidents were re-elected, most of these two-termers left the footprint that made them great in their first term, and wear out their welcome in their second.

Abraham Lincoln provides a fine example; if he had declined to run for re-election, he would have left the same monumental imprint that he did in the real world. FDR, Jefferson, Wilson, Truman, Eisenhower, Madison, Reagan, Cleveland, Nixon, Bush, and Grant all had a harder time in the second term than their first, and essentially created their (positive) legacy in the first term. It looks like Obama is going down that same road, but he hasn't completed his second term yet.

There are exceptions, of course; both of Monroe's terms were equally successful, and TR appears to have done more in his second term than his first. Jackson also had a successful second term, but for the most part he just completed the work started during the first term.

Although, it would be a joy to see Obama try and debate Ted Cruz.

Not because I don't like him. He is OK...bit more socialist would make me happier and less involved in overseas crap but simply because I don't believe in the system we have and want it abolished. I won't be voting this year in mid term's and won't be voting in 2016 for primary's or the general.
