Why are so many officers being relieved from the positions of command and being forced to retire? Those who are speaking out – does not appear to be sour grapes – paint a picture of an effort to turn the military, traditionally rightist in viewpoint – to the left. Read the article @ Why Are Dozens Of High Ranking Officers Being Purged From The U.S. Military? to find out what they're saying.

The military is "traditionally rightest in viewpoint"?
just WHEN has the military ever practiced a belief in less spending and smaller government?
Or are you willing to admit the right has rarely if ever practiced their mantra of less spending and smaller government?
This is the only way of getting his national police force as strong as our military by degrading our brave men & women of the essential equipment training thus demoralizing them, discouraging enlistments re-enlistments then bolster the new brownshirts...comrades.

That would be the Pentagon.
I'm only asking just how the military has ever espoused the "rightest viewpoint" of less spending and smaller government? And just WHO is the Pentagon run by if not Generals, Admirals, etc?
And realistically, WHY should the military HAVE a political viewpoint?

Good question what do you think of this......heard this yesterday and was floored!
"We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded." What is our President saying??
Is Obama planning to have a Civilian Security Force in addition to the military?

One only has to remember the countless reports of DHS buying huge amounts of military arms, ammo, and vehicles to wonder if the ideal for a civilian national security force isn't exactly what our Dear Leader is aiming for.
I'm somewhat torn by the scourge of the military leadership. Get rid of generals and we reduce the number of aides and other perks that cost lots of $$$$$. And, unless massive reductions are made in upper echelon administration organizations, nothing good will come from the purge.
I've always believe we have too many generals and need a whole lot more colonels to do the same job.
