I'll start with my new favorite, Ben Shapiro who is doing a talk show on a Seattle station. For now, as far as I can find out, it is a local show, but presumably the plan is to take it national a la Michael Medved. He is on 3-6PM Pacific Time. You can listen on-line at mynorthwest.com
770 AM: The Truth Shows - Your Conservative Voice for Seattle and Western Washington - AM 770: The Truth - MyNorthwest.com

Ben Shapiro is 30 years old, a Harvard law grad, and has worked as a writer and editor for Breitbart. This guy is great. Generally talk radio hosts are a lot like the GOP as a whole--aging white male baby boomers who are either past or rapidly approaching their pull dates.

Other up and coming talk hosts that I like are Todd Schnitt (you don't want to make his 'Schnitt list) and Andy Dean.

America Now with Andy Dean - 6-9PM ET/3-6PM PT

Any other suggestions? I especially would like to learn of liberal talk hosts with game; are there any of those out there?

The only talk radio I listen to is Armstrong and Getty, the voice of the west!

Best show on the radio, period.

Really only thing around here is Limbaugh and some other right wing folks.

For the funny part-im in Portland, OR area. Left wing land.

Howie Carr on WRKO in Boston is pretty good. A bit irreverant, but he can be funny as hell.

None. I do listen to NPR often, though. Warren Olney is SO aggravating, with his "uh" and "um" nearly every other word. But then, many of the people he talks to are as bad or worse with their "y'know" (NO, I don't know, that's why I'm listening to YOU!) and "I mean" (well, I certainly hope you mean what you are saying!), and, of course, the usual "UH" and "UMMMM"....
How some of these people ever became "talking heads" is beyond belief! they are nearly incomprehensible!
