I thinks it s private employer that has standards and morals they want to enforce. Good for them. If the men cant keep it in their pants they should be fired as well.
Dont take a job and then female dog, whine and moan about its rules and regulations.
I guess no one is considering if this was a result of rape? Oh, I forgot, according to some people, a woman's body rejects rape sperm.
What if she was artificially inseminated, or if she is a surrogate mother, carrying a baby for an infertile sister?
No one looks at anything else, except she is pregnant, and not married. What century is this again?
did the woman claim she was raped ?
Actually she isn't talking at all about this so no one knows her story except her lawyer.
This is not new and other firings in other schools brought to court upheld the school with their contract.
If not don't read more into than is posted.
She signed a contract and then breached the terms.
I'm sure any public school will give her a job.
Good thing the Virgin Mother never taught at a Catholic school.
Irony of this situation, for a church whose foundation is on the premise of a pregnant, unwed Mother.
She lawyered up.
If she was raped as you allude to then it will all come out in court.
If she can prove immaculate conception then go for it.
If not..hit the streets and get a job at the public school.

Why don't you provide the information, was it a rape?
If she was artificially inseminated or a surrogate mother and goes against that private schools rules and moral code then yes she should be subject to termination.
She worked there for 8 years. I suspect she was familiar with what the rules were. Especially when she signed that paper acknowledging the code of conduct during her hiring process. How do I know? I sat on the Parent Teacher Board of my kids parochial school for 10 years.
Lets not play the what if game to push with what seems to be the theme of your anti-catholic church teachings view point thread.
If she signed the contract, then the school is within their rights to fire her. However I feel that these contracts need to have the morality clause spelled out in full, not just have some general clause that can be used for anything and everything. They need to list every action that can get you fired.
