TB isn't sexually transmitted. The flu isn't sexually transmitted. "Viruses" is too vague to address; but the federal government IS funding HIV / AIDS research. The President just asked for Congress to approve more money. They haven't yet. Write to your senator if you like.

The federal government doesn't belong in our bedrooms. Funding research is enough. Gay men make up the largest group of cases ~ maybe they shouldn't be so laissez-faire with the sex lives.

Well, you know what, I am expressing my opinion. And I don't see this as a bedroom issue, but a public health issue.

This entire forum is a place for opinions ~ everyone's. If we had the facts or the best ideas we'd be somewhere else getting paid for our "expertise" instead of here posting under anonymity....
