Manchin's voting record shows he has supported the ACA even though publicly he denounces it... what do you call those kind of people, liars? There will be no vote to repeal the ACA tomorrow, that's the only reason he speaks such lies...
It's fine for all of these guys to babble about repealing the affordable care act, but.....they don't seem to have a realistic replacement plan.
There is no doubt that we need a complete health care plan. ACA is far from perfect, but it is a place to start.
We have a local Congressman who constantly blats about the bad points of the ACA. As a Republican, he has no ground to stand on. They had years to develop a plan, and could never put forth anything remotely comprehensive.
The train has long since left the station. Manchin can play to his constituent all he wants, but the reality is that health care for anyone who can get themselves into an emergency room (and which is paid for by the rest of us) is for all practical purposes, over.

No, the ACA is not a place to start, it's a clear example of what to stay the **** away from.
are you saying he misspoke or do you think he thinks there is a vote to repeal ACA tomorrow?
I think he realizes how terrible this law is, how it is so bad that it needs to be repealed.
What we need to do is fix this mess, by phasing out the unworkable portions, and slowly working in changes.
Our health care industry is complicated. We need to have the professionals sit down, discuss where the cost increases are coming from, where the bottle necks are, and then address them.
Our nation's health care is not something politicians, bureaucrats and their corporate cronies and special interest groups work out in secret meetings, behind locked doors. We can never allow a repeat what the democrats did in 2009-2010.
You snipped the sentence --- "I will vote tomorrow to repeal ACA, but I want to fix the problems in it."
Whatever the heck that means.
