At least as far as Kay Hagan is concerned I think he is underestimating how popular certain gun control actually is here.

North Carolina voters disapprove of Republican legislators - Public Policy Polling

53% of North Carolinians support stricter gun laws compared with 38% who don't and by a 50%-41% margin they support banning assault weapons.

If the GOP goes full boar gun nut in some of these places they are going to run into an unpleasant surprise. So sure run a campaign down here on "background checks are unconstitional" and see your support drain away in the Raleigh and Charlotte suburbs.

Apparently the only "correct" attitude toward Second Amendment rights is that anyone should be allowed to own (and carry) any kind of weapon, anywhere.

The right of a bipolar teenager to carry a loaded AK-47 to school supersedes everything.

Right?

Joe Manchin is the only Democrat that I like. I wish he would switch parties.

My guess is any Democrat in a state that didn't vote for Hussein is in pretty big danger.

They don't allow minors to purchase firearms in my state... When did they start in California? That somehow suprises me...

It's not legal here either -- and that, according to the absolutist pro-2A position, is an infringement upon the Constitutional rights of teenagers.

No, actually you have no rights until such time as you are an adult... Other than to remain silent which is strongly recommended in most normal households.....

What did they do? Poll 1k liberals in Asheville? Lol...NC really should split into 2 states. You got everything west of Asheville and then everything including Asheville east. Its like 2 different places.
