Mr. Sulu should mind his own business and let Arizona do the right thing with this bill and pass it. It is a bill that needs to be implimented as soon as possible. According to the comments, nobody agrees with him on his threat to call for a boycott of Arizona and I don't either. He needs to realize that nobody is forbidding homosexuals from owning and operating their own floral shops, bakeries, photography studios, catering businesses, restaurants, clothing stores, churches, etc. in Arizona.

This is Mr Sulu business.

I had the pleasure of hearing George Takei speak at a ST Convention last year. To quote Mr Spock, it was "fascinating".

he also needs to understand that if the bill is signed, it doesnt mean that businesses are suddenly going to turn gays, and others away. all it means is that they have the right to do so IF THEY CHOOSE.

Surprise, surprise surprise, commenters on The Blaze are anti-gay.

"sulu enjoyed being on the enterprise especially when they circled uranus and wiped out klingons"
"Let the queers keep their money"
"I still don’t think gays deserve the same rights as a traditionally married couple when they cannot provide the same benefit to society and actually do a disservice to society."

And how the hell are they going to be able to choose discrimination in the first place, if the homosexual won't reveal him or her self to them before they do business with them?

Our state politicians are always making this state look bad.

Just like they did the last time. The perverts walk into a shop demanding someone make a cake for their perversions and the owners can outright refuse.

You make the state look bad. You liberals screwed up Detroit, California, New York, and Illinois. Now that you hightailed it to Arizona, you want to speak for them. You don't represent the majority in that state. You don't speak for anyone but yourself. The majority have spoken. And the constitution has won. Deal with it.

Gov. Jan Brewer vetoed similar legislation in 2013, but The New York Times reported that it’s not clear if she will support the latest bill.
There could be a whole host of reasons Gov. Brewer did not sign the bill last time.
She may have believed the law would have not made it through judicial review. Or that defending the law in court cases would be far more expensive as to justify passing the law.

One thing can be certain...if she signs the bill into law, there will be suits filed in court to challenge the law on day one.

There will be no TV discussions on whether the law is unconstitutional or complaining about the law. Action..not whining

You can deal with it after the courts have spoken.
