It's pretty damn simple. The reason is we gays want the equal protection of the laws (as required by the Constitution).

Being homosexual does not make you sterile. We can, and do, have children using the same methods that millions of heterosexual couples do.

And many straight couple's can't have children either. Weak argument.

Maybe you are not aware of adoption for instance?

As an unmarried male, I've adopted two individuals.. Sexual orientation didnt even come up, nor should it.

Many hetero couples can't have children without assistance from a third party either...

Yes, but you need either dysfunctional relationships or artificial constructs to do so.

Why do you think women who cannot bear children and have to resort to adoption have complexes? Many women who.cannot rear children develop deep depression because they feel as if they are defective....and to a degree they are. They cannot serve their natural physiological function.
