Huh??? How were his civil rights violated? He jumped Zimmerman, knocking him down, then proceeded to beat the crap out of him.

This was a clear case of self defense, and Zimmerman was cleared. Is this double jeopardy, or what? What's going on here?

there was no evidence to this being the actual events that took place. All we know is that by the time witnesses saw it Martin was on top.

It is just as likely that Zimmerman confronted Martin and tried to bully him like the wannabe cop that he was.

Civil Case follows the criminal case just like the OJ trials

That's about the only thing that's similar between the two cases (besides racial sensitivity).

Zimmerman shot his assailant as he was getting his head bashed into the ground. There should have been no trial nor should there be a civil case.

This isn't a civil suit by the family. These would be criminal charges brought by the DOJ.

I expected a civil suit by the family, but hasn't happened. They did get $$$ from the Homeowners Association.

The facts of the case clearly clears Mr. Zimmerman. Clearly many in our community and in many other communities cannot get past the race issues to see and understand the facts of the various cases we are seeing all over the country. Should we assume the person is innocent of wrong doing simply because he/she is black? If these various Black individuals did not attack and acted rationally they would all be alive today.
