If Zimmerman was black and Martin was white; we probably would have never heard about it. Zimmerman might have even been viewed as a hero defending himself from a racial motivated attack.

And how would that work, when Zimmerman recorded himself chasing the other person down the street?

No, reverse the races, and Zimmerman goes to jail, which is exactly where he belongs. Nobody would pick through Martin's Facebook or Twitter accounts, trying to prove that he was a "thug". Nobody would make up nonsense about how he was making drugs.and nobody would believe the idiotic story about how Martin ran away, and then ran back and attacked Zimmerman.
