Outside of color, chances are, that the black conservative is married to a white conservative. Their values, opinions etc are probably more compatible, especially when there are few black conservatives around.
It's probably highly unlikely that you'll find a white liberal married to a black conservative, or a black conservative married to a black liberal, or a white one, so on and so fourth.
This pretty much sums it up. As I said in another thread, when a particular demographic votes for a particular political party at a rate of roughly 94%, the 6% that break that trend want to be with people who think like they do. We're not talking about a friendship at work. We're talking about someone you see day in and day out, that you wake up every morning with. It stands to reason that they would want to be with someone that's on the same page with their beliefs.
I find it funny how it's usually Black Liberals who call Black Conservatives "uncle toms" and self haters because they are Conservative and/or because they date outside of their race, but as soon as a white person says something similar, they'll be quick to call someone a racist and a bigot. Liberals, especially Liberal Blacks, are the least accepting demographic in this country. At least Whites are constantly told and shamed about the fact that racism is wrong (even when they has haven't said or done anything racist), but Liberals and Liberal Blacks are told that their racism is okay and justified.
Clarence Thomas, Deneen Borelli, George Schuyler, Angela McGlowan, John McWhorter (who's more of a libertarian), Lisa Fritsch, among others, are/were just a few examples.

How come so many black liberal actors marry white women?
Who the hell cares? I fail to see the problem with inter racial marriage and kind of thought the nation had moved beyond that several decades ago.
A few of our black drug reps are married to white women. Why? Because that is pretty much all there is around here, as there are few minorities. These guys are solid, hard working guys and I am sure that their in laws are thrilled to have them.

Exactly.... But all Liberals see is color and race. White Conservatives are are evil and racist and if you associate with them, you must be a sellout who hates your race is how Liberals view it... Conservatives, despite the fact that they are constantly being portrayed as hating Blacks, welcome Black Conservatives or any and all people with Conservatives views with open arms.

While implying that white girls are easier than black girls, which is hard to believe considering the high rates of out-of-wedlock births among both groups. It seems that white girls don't have a monopoly on being slutty.
Uh; "race" or "culture" here? I ask that because if a Black person raised in the ghetto HATES the hood rat life and wants to marry MAY have to "marry out" if there's no decent Black partner to even be had in his or her town.
I would have to agree that this is more a cultural issue than racial - but like so many things that involve black folks, it seems to manifest for and to many as race - probably because race is the most obvious.
There are many Blacks who do not fit culturally within the black community. If this is because they reject other blacks, or if it is because they are rejected by other blacks and then turn their attention away from the community, I think it still results in item 3.
McWhorter is a democrat. Harold Ford is married to a white woman. In my experience the most radical of Blacks either marry or are very into White women. MLK is rumored to have been such a man.
I'm not trying to be funny, but I didn't realize Harold Ford was black. He is very fair skinned and has European facial features.
