LOL... as if "the staff" is even getting close enough to get barked at.
You guys really don't think very hard about the crap you read.
Have you ever been to a 5 or 4 star hotel? Who do you think is picking up after them, cleaning the suite, bringing food, making the beds, bringing fresh linen? When they want something and call room service or housekeeping who do you think delivers it to - staff? Or do you think secret service is doing all that? In some hotels when there are dignitaries or people well known visiting a hotel staff stands outside in the hall 24/7 to be on the guests beck and call.
You are a better person than I am then. I hated the prejudiced of where I could sit, where some could eat, what water fountain some could drink from. And yes we were forbidden from sitting in the back of the bus because that was deemed inferior.
After growing up why would you stay in a country you were embarrassed of?
Even though China is number one in academic achievement and America currently ranks #36 in reading, science, and math, Michelle’s hocus-focus will supposedly underscore the value of education to Chinese schoolchildren who, quite frankly, have done just fine without her advice.
Surely you know those Chinese statistics are rigged?
But the Obamas' stay has already affected staff and guests at the hotel, with the Westin front-desk veteran alleging that Mrs. Obama's mother Marian Robinson has been 'barking at the staff since she arrived.'
I doubt that staff at any hotel would speak to reporters about about guests - especially in China.
^^And even if the staff did speak to reporters, which I agree is extremely speculative and unlikely, isn't it common for staff to complain like that, sort of as part of the work culture?
So people should never complain when they've been wronged? Do as your told mundane, right?
How have they been wronged? They may be busier than usual due to a higher number of quests. If I become busier in my line of work (which often happens), I work harder.
Especially in China? So why isn't Michelle talking about human rights? Oh thats because she could care less. She is on vacation.
How do you know she isn't?
