Then liberals attack the Koch brothers for contributing $100 million to a hospital in NY. I guess Liberals prefer money from Pelosi that won't come.

major New York hospital had gratefully accepted a $100 million gift from a philanthropic family with a long history of donating to the arts, higher learning and medicine.

But the new wing at New York-Presbyterian Hospital inspired a bizarre protest last weekend by activist groups including the NAACP New York State Conference, the New York State Nurses’ Association and the hospital-employee union SEIU Local 1199

What policies of Obama's do we disagree on?

BTW, the 47% is Romney's term, not mine.

Nancy Pelosi has been a longtime supporter of the United Farm Workers, the small vineyard she and her husband own in St. Helena doesn't hire union labor to pick the grapes there. Likewise, the couple have investments in the boutique hotel in Rutherford and the upscale Italian restaurant chain, which aren't union shops.

Pelosi's fortune comes mostly from real estate and business investments. Her husband, Paul Pelosi, has wide real estate, stock, and bond holdings, including San Francisco condos, a Napa Valley vineyard, a hotel resort in Rutherford, Calif., and at least a $1 million investment in a San Francisco limousine business.

Look at the Obama lovers sidestep the question. Why don't wealthy liberals give most of their wealth away. There is Obama, Reid, Pelosi, so rich but doesn't give a dime yet she wants to take from every day hard working Americans.

Or is the point really that its other peoples money you want to demonize and be used?

IMO, its not about their bs "cause" at all. Its about money and power. They dont give a damn about the causes they preach of, they care about themselves. If they really, really believed a lot of the crap they say, they would feel guilty about having so much money and would give most of their wealth away and live more middle class like. But they wont, they're hypocritical deceivers.

Most highly wealthy Liberals do give away their wealth because they realize you can't take it with you. Taking a leaf from Andrew Carnegie, John D. Rockefeller and Henry Ford they will create Foundations and turn their estates over to such organizations that will mean they will be helping the arts ,building libraries, funding scientific research or exploration long after they have passed on.

I have been to these gala affairs where wealthy conservatives dress up in expensive clothes have expensive food and drinks and take pictures writing big checks to some charitable organization.

Wealthy liberals are volunteering at the food pantry on Saturday morning. Wealthy conservatives give money to build a well in Africa and wealthy liberals go to Africa to help dig a well. I am reminded of Carnegie who built libraries because he felt guilty about working poor laborers to death in the steel industry.
He was so removed from the working class that he believed they didn’t need more money to live better what they needed was a library. It is no badge of honor to say red states give more to charity. Red states have more poor and more conservative guilt.
This was, without a doubt, the largest crock of bull$hit I have read on these forums in a long time.. Bono works? LMAO!!! The man's made himself richer off the backs of poor African's.. Christ, liberals have twisted views.. How in the world to do you people function day-to-day?
