It is something liberals would and apparently do...........ask to be stoned. No I'm not talking about pot either. Liberals do this nonsense to get other liberals enraged and so they can declare themselves a "victim" and scream "not fair".
Actually the sign said Jesus would stone them, so I guess you could argue the sign promotes violence against those named Jesus.
So until someone named "Jesus" actually acts and decides to stone gays, there isnt any violence taking place, only intolerance.
We could put up a sign and say DUI driving kills people. Do you think we're inciting violence against DUI drivers?
The biblical quotes under "Jesus would stone homos" advocate that believers should do the killing:
"take the man or woman who has done this evil deed to your city gate and stone that person to death."
"The hands of the witnesses must be the first in putting that person to death, and then the hands of all the people. You must purge the evil from among you."
Deur 17:5-7

This woman wanted to be stoned. Do you not get the difference? I guess not.
The Atlah black Christian in Harlem has a sign outside saying "JESUS WOULD STONE HOMOS". So a lesbian rang their door bell and asked for her stoning. In another incident back in January, a Louisiana woman brought a stone to a city council meeting and shamed a councilman into backing down from his unequal rights for gays proposal. I expect we'll be seeing more of these shaming incidents where a public face confronts ideology and puts a human face to those affected.
The church is mistaken, because Jesus did not stone anyone.
But you do see that there is a huge difference between a rainbow flag and an incitement for adherents of a religious faith to kill you and all others like you? You do see that, right?
This woman has a lot of courage to stand up to the bigotry of this false church. Jesus would not stone her, he would tell her that her sin is forgiven and to go sin no more. He was against stoning people, for we are all sinners.
That being said, I don't understand the point of this thread or why its even in the news to begin with. Its a small radical church in a New York City ghetto, it doesn't represent Christians or black people. If this is an attempt to try and make all Christians look like bigots then you have desperately failed.
