No conservative European would ever accept the Republican Party because they would find the immigration policy to be horrifying. Ronald Reagan gave amnesty to illegal immigrants in the 80s and that is something that would be political suicide in Europe. Republican politicians have done very little to actually control immigration and in fact they support the immigration of 1 million legal immigrants a year something that Europeans would never find acceptable. The vast majority of these immigrants are non-white although many are Latin American which means they are Western. If Spain's experience with Latin American immigrants is indicative of anything, the vast majority of Europeans would never accept a large number of non white immigrants even if they are of Western culture like Latin Americans.
Republicans support immigration because big business wants more immigrants to grow their labor force and market. This is generally politically unacceptable in Europe since most Europeans want their countries to remain majority White European.

I was born and spent much time in Europe. Sure a small percentage keeps up on sports but except for Futbol, Auto Racing, and Tennis; it's a huge contrast to America. The President of this country fills out a yearly bracket for College Basketball and takes time off to meet the Champions of each Professional Sport. That is beyond entertainment but a staple of the culture. Europeans are more involved in history, literature, film (not Hollywood) and other art.
College educations for bouncing a ball? That's laughable. Why are College institutions financially reliant or even connected in anyway to sports?

Europeans and Japanese are absolutely incapable of integrating non natives IMO. They simply do not have the institutions or the culture necessary to integrate non natives. I think they should restrict immigration until they develop the culture and institutions necessary to integrate non natives.

Why should we have to develop? As I do recall for about 1000 years ago it was China/Japan who lead the the world in technology, over the last 500 it was Europeans, and later us Americans..We are not the problem.

Just out of curiosity: Have you ever set foot in Europe? You make it sound like we are experiencing Dante's Inferno right now...
European nations need an influx of immigrants to sustain their benefits because the birth rates are too low. The problem is it's changing their culture. American culture is multinational, so it's not as hard for us to have immigration. But we're talking about countries with thousands of years of their own culture, so it's much harder for them to adjust.
i'm referring specifically to immigrants from underdeveloped countries.
