See the post above yours. They aren't upset by her death, they are celebrating it.

What I really do not give a damn about is people using a woman's death to push an agenda that will result in tens of thousands of deaths.

Sounds good, since that was my initial point.

Too bad none of those actually helped her with her heart condition, apparently.

The fact is, no more people have health care in this country now than they did 6 years ago. Furthermore many of those that have had to go onto the ACA now have a deductible that they can't afford to pay that they didn't have 6 years ago. If you think that the ACA, as written is an end all be all, you are delusional. With or without the subsidies. Eventually the federal funding is suspended, then what? The states will be straddled with the expense, which as a resident of your state, you will have to pay. Most states don't have the revenue to even begin to assist with subsidies. We need healthcare in this country, but this plan, as currently written and imposed is not the answer. I don't know what the answer is, but I do know that this isn't it.

an 'expansion' or lack there of medicaid has zero to do with her death
When the Obamacare (ACA) was first passed the states were mandated to expand Medicaid to anyone making less than 131% of the poverty rate, regardless of age. Based on this assumption, the law did not have built into it subsidies for people making less than 131% of the poverty rate, as they planned on having those people funded by the states. (That was part of that "we have to pass it to see what's in it" part). When the Supreme Court correctly ruled that Obamacare could not mandate states expand Medicaid no one bothered to go back and fix that little glitch, or heck, maybe they hadn't got around to reading it yet. Bottom line, probably the people who most needed the help slipped through the cracks in about half the states. This was one of the most poorly conceived, poorly written, poorly understood, poorly implemented laws in my lifetime and the magnitude of it's impact makes it far worse.
