Are you saying it's bad for one side to do this but not the other? Or it's O.K. to be hypocritical because others are also?

Same reason Republicans accused anybody who opposed the Patriot Act of being unpatriotic. It's a lot easier to trust the gubment when 'your guy' is in charge.

It's one of a slew of dumb habits we humans are prone to.

So you think spying is something new in this country because you now know about it? Talk about turning a blind eye.

I never said it was......I'm saying Obama is expanding it further and further. I'm not the one defending it.

And? Government spying doesn't really bother me, Target and other companies have been doing it for a while.

So then just be honest that our rights aren't really all that important to you as long as a (D) is in office.

I assumed our government was spying on people during the Bush administration as well. It isn't something that I personally think is that big of an issue because it is something that has been going on for a long, long time. During the Cold War, spying was really big in this country.

Also, which rights are being violated?

What's good for us is good for everybody. They also lack core principals to live by such as self reliance and personal accountability. Because of this they tend to accuse others of racism, hatred etc when questioned about their belief system as it relates to them.

If you would seperate the country into two factions liberals would stave to death.
Very true, especially the last part..
