Not really. There are reports from all over the world, including eastern Europe. You claimed the reports are false and implied the false reports are created by the US for propaganda purposes, which is ridiculous. They do not need to vilify Putin--he's a bad guy and most Americans are aware of that. I think if the US govt was trying to generate hate for Putin, they wouldn't bother with Donetsk--which is basically a couple of buildings that have declared themselves a republic.

Being at least a little suspicious of the US media or at least their competance in a rush to publish first and correct second is not a bad policy.

It's far more likely they would do this in western Ukraine than in eastern Ukraine.
Learn a little history. The grandparents of the neo-Nazis in western Ukraine formed their own SS Divisions during WWII. They killed Jews and Poles by the hundreds of thousands.

I think anything that occurs in the "Donetsk People's Republic" will be questioned as they seem to be rather like the Keystone Kops with an edge. This could get weirder.
