just when it looked like birtherism was about to go into hibernation ( awaiting the release of sheriff joe arpaio's cold case posse's "universe-shattering" evidence )....... things get funky.
it looks like WND is getting back into the birther business. jerome corsi has been in london covering the trial of self-proclaimed "intelligence expert" michael shrimpton. shrimpton claims that the CIA has DNA and other evidence proving obama was born in kenya ( how DNA can prove someone is born in a specific place is not made clear ).
shrimpton is on trial for making the false claim to authorities that german agents had stolen a nuclear missle off a sunken russian submarine and were going to sneak it up the thames and blow up the olympic games.
Cranks tend to flock together. Once people stop caring about truth or reality in their beliefs...one lie is pretty much as good as another. It's a smart move on Shrimpton's because the lunatic birther fringe with no life will start flooding channels they haven't been booted from with shrieks of "Conspiracy" because to them anything the government does is a conspiracy.
Especially since it doesn't matter what people do, as long as they have a pulse and tell birthers what they want to hear...birthers will believe them hook, line, and sinker. Likely pay money for these people's books, web****es, and other verbal diarrhea. Stupid people are great to fleece, and one can't get more idiotic and easy to lead than the birther crowd.
i was inspired to make some birther bumperstickers and shirts after seeing gary kreep's success ( he sold a bumpersticker and fax to your congressman for $35.00 via a late night infomercials throughout the south ) but then i thought...... " birtherism probably only has another month or two left in it". that was five years ago.
The best part of the WND article is that the über-nutburger Corsi repeatedly slips up and sounds like even he doesn't believe Shrimpton. You gotta be quite the crackpot to make even Corsi skeptical, I tell you!
A liberal digs around and brings up some obscure "birther" plot, and posts it as though anyone other than himself cared. Other liberals jump in and agree how silly the "birthers" are. Yet more jump on the bandwagon with wild exaggerations, insults, and namecalling. And the liberal parade goes on and on.
The only conservative in the thread, is the one laughing at the liberals' silly futility.

WND seems to care. they flew jerome corsi to london to do a series of articles covering shrimpton's claims and his trial.
