I believe Donald Sterling is about to teach the NBA a very expensive lesson! Donald Sterling has never sold any investment property he has ever owned, and he has said that he will not sell the Clippers...which means (to me) that he will litigate the sanctions and fine brought against him by the NBA for as long as he wishes. And that's probably just what he plans (and can afford) to do.

Yep, that is the point of the ban. The NBA owners will then take a vote and if 75% of the owners vote to force a sale, then he will lose his team.
I'm sure they will reach a super majority vote to force a sale. The owners know that. As such, the vote may very well end up being 29-0. Being that the voting results may go public, I doubt an NBA owner wants to be seen voting against the sale.
