By the way, you didn't read "both" articles. For one thing, it was only one article, not two. Second, the article is at least a fifteen minute read.
Ok, I read both your links then, sorry Do people believe in god because of articles....of course not. I believe man is causing great harm to our environment. How could we not believe that. Just look at we do the air and earth with our pollution and trash. Look at all the land fields we have to dump our trash. When one gets filled we open another. Nothing can be built on a land field except for maybe a golf course. That should tell you something. To me it's just common sense how we affect the climate.

That is funny. That is what I call the counter narrative deniers. A religion.

Wait how can you call global warming alarmist a religion?

We are armed with the scientist, the evidence, and the facts

The deniers are the ones who start with faith and ignore the body of evidence

Ummmm... Nigel Lawson is a politician.
So I'm irrational because I trust scientists more?

He rehashes all of the easily disproven theories out there... why is it so important that these 'theories' be repeatedly exposed as unrealistic junk science?

At some point, you must accept that the world is round and move ahead.

By that logic you can't trust Al Gore either.

And, still...not one argument with anything said in the article.

What exactly do you want people to say?

Go right ahead: Easily disprove something he brings up. (By the way, he espouses no theories, he assails them.)

From the article: For example, according to the climate-change secretary, Ed Davey, the global-warming dissenters are, without exception, “wilfully ignorant,” and in the view of the prince of Wales we are “headless chickens.” Not that “dissenter” is a term they use. We are regularly referred to as “climate-change deniers,” a phrase deliberately designed to echo “Holocaust denier” — as if questioning present policies and forecasts of the future is equivalent to casting malign doubt about a historical fact.
