LOL. Most European countries don't charge college tuition. Higer Education in most European Countries is for free.

Ha, yeah. The increasing acceptance of gay marriage alone would be a dead giveaway.

Were the only industrialized nation that deliberately keeps it's borders open so the businesses could take advantage of cheap, illegal labor. There is no illegal immigration problem in America, there is a problem of businesses who wouldn't be able to survive if it wasn't for cheap, illegal labor. We need illegal immigrants more than they need us.

The hell we do, build a fence, mandate E-virfy, fine business who hire illegals, prevent them from using the welfare system, end birthright citizen for the kids of illegal immigration.

Wages will rise, as would mechanization in many sectors, We dont need a endless wave of 3rd world immigration, there is no up side to it, cheap labor is anything but cheap.

Not that America could not use some of those things (universal healthcare)

It's like southern hospitality. Some things just can't be bottled.
I would just move there

Think about the fact that even many liberal European nations don't have gay marriage, and the ones that do don't allow gay adoptions. For example liberal France and liberal Germany don't allow gay adoptions. But liberal Democrats here consider gay marriage a "civil right" and compare their movement to the actual civil rights movement of the 1960s. The US also has extremely liberal abortion laws compared to most of Europe, including compared to the UK, France, Germany, and Italy.

Democrats openly and passionately support illegal immigration, while illegal immigration is not tolerated in liberal Europe. No European country gives in-state college tuition to illegal aliens, or is discussing giving amnesty to illegals. Countries like Spain, Italy, and Germany are VERY strict in guarding their borders and don't tolerate illegal aliens entering their land. Factually speaking of the two political parties the Democratic party is much closer to being the centrist party than the conservative party.

The vast majority of Democratic voters don't identify as liberal some of those voters identify as liberal a huge percentage as moderate and some as conservative, while the vast overwhelming majority of conservative voters do identify as conservative.

Democratic elected officials don't govern as liberals. They rarely take the most liberal position on government policy. In fact, the Democratic party in a lot ways ignores and attempts to limit liberals in the Democratic party.

Conservative elected officials frequently govern as conservatives ideologues and take the most conservative positions on government policy.
The conservative party is completely dominated by conservatives. What ever conservatives want that is what they get in the party.

So yes, based on the real world not abstraction, of the two political parties the Democratic party compared to the conservative party is by far the moderate/middle of the road party.
