I sense a huge vacuum in the lives of our gay American citizens if gay marriage is legal as they will no longer have a hobby anymore.
They will find something else to go on about. The activists, I mean. Gay people in general are just people in general. But for the activists, it will never end. It can't ever end. It's their reason for being. It's just like it is with the feminists and the race baiters. The feminists have gone from protesting for the vote and owning property down to calling it a "war" if they don't get free birth control. The race baiters have gone from also wanting the vote and to be able to attend the same schools and use public untilities down to protesting about "racist code words". They have gone past the point of irrelevance and to the point of absurdity, but they're still there. They gain fame, money, power, and a sense of moral righteousness from their struggle. They aren't about to give that up.
